Russell Oquist studied music at California State University at Northridge, where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Composition Master’s Degree and Conducting. He has also had a lifetime passion for writing poetry and stories. He is a singer, guitarist, composer, narrator and writer. As he grew he began composing music and writing stories to glorify the Lord and to entertain and edify people. He created the children’s stories series (Rhythmic, Rhyming, Timing Tales) originally as bedtime stories for his youngest daughter, Kristina.
